The Commander is given to those who already have a Lynx of Atenveldt and continue to be outstanding in the virtues of the arte of defense — Prudence, Audacity, Celerity, and Fortitude; using steel weapons in both Rapier and Cut & Thrust styles. In addition, they continue to excel in teaching and their exceptional artistry of these weapons forms.

This is a very special award because only one may be given out per reign and the Crown puts a lot of thought into their choice. The award includes a Grant of Arms and has a higher precedence than the Lynx, Luxbruder or Guardian
