The Commander of the Lynx is given to those who already have a Lynx and continue to be outstanding in the virtues of the arte of defense — Prudence, Audacity, Celerity, and Fortitude; using steel weapons in both Rapier and Cut & Thrust styles. These individuals continue to show good judgment, boldness, swiftness and courage, both on and off the field. They continue to excel in teaching and their exceptional artistry of these weapons forms. This is a very special award because only one may be given out per reign and the Crown puts a lot of thought into their choice. The award includes a Grant of Arms and has a higher precedence than the Lynx, Luxbruder or Guardian. | |||
