Art Showcase

Illuminated Scrolls: Taking inspiration from illuminated manuscripts from across Europe between the 1200s to early 1600s, to paint what the SCA calls, "award scrolls." For every award given in the SCA, there is a hand-painted and drawn piece of art given to the recipient. I've really enjoyed focusing some of my art in painting these items. Some notable projects include:

Knighthood Peerage Scroll for Sir Volchekh

Pelican Peerage Scroll for Mistress Emeludt

Pelican Peerage Scroll for Magnifico Benedikt

Court Barony Scroll for The Honorable Lady Orianna

Commander of the Crimson Mace Scroll for Mistress Catyln

Lion of Atenveldt Scroll for Duke Mark von Neumannsgrund

Laurel Peerage Scroll for Mistress Elsbeth von Sonnenthal
Sewing: I enjoy sewing as a hobby and have a particular interest in sewing Renaissance era costumes and garb, that can be worn and enjoyed for both SCA events and other medieval festivals. I endeavor to making these outfits largely from thrifted materials, saving fabric from going to landfill and supporting sustainability. Some notable projects include:

Italian Gammura Gown for Bantheign Elena

Italian Doublet and Pants for Theign Sir Volchekh

Italian Gammura for Lady Ilva

Italian Gammura for Lady Arnora

English Doublet and Pants for Lord Fletcher

Dagged Cotehardie, dagged hood with liripipe, and parti-color cotehardie for The Honorable Lord Benedikt

English Doublet and Pants for m'Lord Otto

Cotehardie under and over dress for Mistress Isabel
