The Office of Social Media encourages the enthusiastic but responsible use of social media on a variety of platforms to support the goals of the Society and introduce the Current Middle Ages to new audiences who might like to participate with us.

What is Social Media

Social Media are forms of electronic communication (such as websites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (such as videos).

What Platforms are used by Social Media

Although there are many Social Media platforms available, within the S.C.A. only a few are approved for Society use by the Social Media Policy. Those platforms are:

Meetup,

Pinterest

There are other platforms that are used by S.C.A. Branches that are not, as yet, approved platforms. These include:
