Barony of Granite Mountain History

Granite Mountain encompasses Prescott and the Verde Valley in Arizona. The Barony of Granite Mountain is the youngest Barony in the Kingdom of Atenveldt. The Barony became the 7th in the Kingdom and is known as “The Seventh Wonder of Atenveldt”. Granite Mountain was elevated into Baronial status at Northern War Practice on January 22nd of 2011 by Their Royal Majesties, Duke Phelan and Duchess Amirah.

List of Barons and Baronesses

Our Lineage

The Founding Baron and Baroness who were invested that day were HE Sir Brian the Pious and HE Natal’ia Diekova Vdova Rabynovicha. Their Excellencies, Brian and Natal’ia reigned over these lands for three years.

HE Jacob the Dainty and HE Elizabetta de Wallachia, the second Baron and Baroness of Granite Mountain, sat the Granite Thrones from January 2014 to March of 2014. Their Majesties, Duke Morgan and Duchess Livia appointed HE Lutold von Sonnenthal and HE Elsbeth von Sonnenthal to watch over Granite Mountain as Vicar and Vicaress for six months, until new nobility could be invested.

HE Lutold von Sonnenthal and HE Elsbeth von Sonnenthal were invested as the third Baron and Baroness of the Barony of Granite Mountain. They would watch over the Seventh Wonder of Atenveldt for the next three years, from September 2014 to September 2017.

HE Asrikr Thoreston and HE Jacomina Rizzardi were invested as the fourth coronet, to serve as Baron and Baroness of the Barony of Granite Mountain. Their tenure ran from September 2017 to April 2019.

HE Conor de Carlton and HE Caroline Marie de Fontenailles were appointed to watch over Granite Mountain as Vicar and Vicaress by Their Magesties, Duke Morgan and Duchess Elizabeth in September 2019. The served frpm April 2019 until the next Baron and Baroness were invested.

HE Count Sir Brian Winterbourne, the Pious, founding Baron of Granite Mountain and HE Countess Lia Winterbourne, le Citolur were invested as the fourth Baron and Baroness in September 2020,  a few short months before the 10th anniversary of Granite Mountain.
