Persona
I am Lord Roberto Raimondo de los Montero del Trinia (Robert Raymond of the Mountain of Thunder), a Spanish adventurer from the 1500s. As a lad, I grew up in the farming and ranching areas near the Pueblo de Las Cruces. As the second son, my chances of inheriting my father’s estancia were slim, so it was either the priesthood or the military. To this end my parents saw to it that I received an education. While completing my studies I became interested in a young tavern maid named Maya. I decided on a life of adventure and the military when talk started of a “sword at the back” wedding. Over the years I have had many adventures and traveled to many lands. I have been to the far Orient, all over Europe, and the New World. While in the service of the Emperor of Allemania (Germany), I met and later wed a store keeper of Italian-French parentage named Maddelena. When my adventuring days were over I decided to settle in the arid lands of an area of the New World called Arizona since I grew up in a vast arid region.
I decided on a Spanish persona since I grew up in Texas and New Mexico and have always been interested in the area and have always been interested in its history.
