Meistres Morgaine Rhys ap Gruffydd, OP (she/her) Joined the SCA in 1990 in the Barony of Atenveldt. She first became interested in heraldry when the members of her first household asked her to talk to the local heralds on their behalf to help them register names and armory. It was then she met Mistress Helen Jennet of Foxhall, who introduced her both to the world of heraldry and the fun of administrative service in the Society. Morgaine is a 10th C Irishwoman (with a Welsh name) living near the Viking settlement of Dublin, traveling at times to Iceland and Wales. Ridiculously well traveled for a woman of her time.
She is sometimes a 14th C Welshwoman living in the same area of Ireland.
Although she rarely dresses later than 14th C, her interests range throughout the scope of all the SCA has to offer.
