Kniagnia (Duchess) Ian’ka Ivanovna zhena P’trovitsa is a dutiful wife to her absent minded woodworking Duke [[Ivan Petrovitch]] and is a co-head of a large household of Varangians who believe in making things look good called [[Hrafnheim]]. She is a member of the Order of the [[Laurel]] for her work in Documentation and she has one apprentice, Lady [[Eyvor Halldorsdottir]]. Ian'ka spends her days in pursuit of scribal, lampwork, and fiber arts. She is currently the devoted deputy Signet for the Kingdom.

Full handouts will be provided free of charge which will cover the 5 Steps to Writing your documentation, how to cite your sources and the use of the internet (good and bad) for research. We will be also looking at examples of documentation from artisans around the kingdom, discussing documentation and how judges use it during judging, and how other entrants can use your documentation for inspiration and how-to for their projects.

Hrafnheim is a household that is primarily based in The [[Barony of Tir Ysgithr]] but have members and initiates all over Atenveldt. Our arms are registered as: ''Gules, a raven displayed, on a chief invected argent three Ukrainian trident heads gules.''

The household is matriarchal and led by Duchess [[Asa Hrafnsdóttir]] and Duchess [[Ian'ka Ivanovna zhena P'trovitsa]]. The Duchesses keep the Dukes aka Duke [[Eduard Gostomski]] and Duke [[Ivan Petrovitch]] from getting too overboard with our period encampment.

== What We Do ==
Though the original vision of the household, which started to take root the Dukes heads in 2008, was to be a fighting household what has actually happened is that we are makers, and patrons of the arts. During Estrella and other events we teach classes on various topics from period woodworking, period metalcraft, naälbinding, bone carving, calligraphy and illumination, research and documentation, brewing, period cooking and so much more.

When we are at in person events look for a large white dragonwing style tent with large banners out front with the red back ground with the white raven. If you see a person walking with a red cloak with a large white raven that is one of our members as well and you can chat them up.

If its a camping event, look for a large period camp with two A-Frame firepits and tons of banners.

Kniagnia (Duchess) Ian’ka Ivanovna zhena P’trovitsa is a dutiful wife to her absent minded woodworking Duke [[Ivan Petrovitch]] and is a co-head of a large household of Varangians who believe in making things look good called [[Hrafnheim]]. She is a member of the Order of the [[Laurel]] for her work in Documentation and she has one apprentice, Lady [[Eyvor Halldorsdottir]]. Ian'ka spends her days in pursuit of scribal, lampwork, and fiber arts. She is currently the devoted deputy Signet for the Kingdom.

Though the original vision of the household, which started to take root the Dukes heads in 2008, was to be a fighting household what has actually happened is that we are makers, and patrons of the arts. During Estrella and other events we teach classes on various topics from period woodworking, period metalcraft, naälbinding, bone carving, calligraphy and illumination, research and documentation, brewing, period cooking and so much more.

Runa is a first generation SCA Member whose primary focus is Bardic, Watch, and Shenanigans. She is the first [[:category:Apprentice|Apprentice]] of Viscountess [[Wander Riordan|Wander Riordan]], OL.

Runa is rarely seen without her "son" (her dog), [[Master Chief|Master Chief]].

She is a member of the Household [[Hrafenheim|Hrafnheim]] and the [[Southern Scriptorium|Southern Scriptorium]].

Runa joined the SCA via the [[College of Saint Felix|College of Saint Felix]] and currently resides in the [[Barony of Tir Ysgithr|Barony of Tir Ysgithr]].
